ashburton plunge pool design


This narrow plunge pool was made possible in two ways. Firstly, changing a door to a window so as to make the pool compliant with the latest swimming pool regulations, combined with having the swimming pool just the right depth to comply with the angle of repose issue. This enabled the pool to be located close to the house while building the boundary wall on the pool beam

The third change was to make the entertainment space accessible in what was otherwise “Dead space” by changing a window to a door

By tweaking the architecture, you can often maximize the feasibility of the outdoor space to create a great garden
