It was a delight once again to have the opportunity to talk to the Landscape architecture students at the Melbourne University’s school of Landscape architecture.

I used examples from recent projects in Brighton and Werribee, where Swimming pools have been used to enhance the architecture and add value to the owner’s property as well as lifestyle, and how to avoid the pitfalls of being overly pool focused.

Too often swimming pools are not connected visually and practically to the entertainment spaces, whereas to have the union between these three components is critical, linking the entertainment area to the architecture to the swimming pool, to enhance lifestyle and value.
